I like Grumman-Olson Kurbsides almost as much as I like ‘66 Pontiac Catalinas and Buick GSXs.

One of the odd things about the Nordic countries is that they’re quite keen on huge old American cars and the Finns seem to be especially so. I was in Stockholm a couple of years ago and
heard somebody saying “Oh, en finnbil!
” and a whole convoy of huge American finnbilar on tour
trundled past.

You could almost see the car that I arrived with to the 3rd August event. It would be in the photo that has the older yellow 911 but the view is blocked by a large dark van.
